We have many hugely important volunteer roles that we need to fill.

Are you free on Sunday 24th of August? Would you like to volunteer and be part of the 2025 Abbott Longford Marathon crew?

We need road stewards and water stations crew for lots of areas on our vast course, spanning 3 counties.

We would love you to join our team of very important volunteers for the 2025 Abbott Longford marathon and make a vital contribution to the continued success and safety of ‘the friendly marathon in the heart of Ireland’.

If you are free tomorrow evening Tuesday 19th August, we have a meeting for all volunteers in the Longford Arms Hotel at 8PM.

If you can make it to the meeting, you will meet our course coordinators who will assign duties and there will be an important safety briefing with An Garda Síochána .
