First (women) Helen Cawthorne (Derbyshire, England) in 2.58.59
Second (women) Catherine Dunne (Dunboyne, Co. Meath) in 3.17.12
Third (women) Mary Jennings (Waterford) in 3.17.50

Darrell Erwin took first place in the marathon wheelchair section in 2.39.58.

In the men's half marathon Tony Dalton of the Belfast Harriers won in 1.13.33 with Peter Mooney in 2nd in 1.14.54, and Pauric Farrell in 3rd in 1.16.53. In the women's half marathon Joesephine Killeen from Clare won in 1.28.30 with Kate Moyna in 2nd place in 1.32.42, and Maura Dervin in 3rd place in 1.35.51.
